They’ve carried me across floors, over splashes of color, and through all the little messes that make this work what it is.

My steadfast friends, my paintings wouldn’t be the same without you!
Still feeling so grateful after last weekend. T Still feeling so grateful after last weekend.

Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday evening to celebrate the opening of The Sendoff, and to those who stopped by on Sunday for Coffee & a Tour. It meant so much to see the space full, to share the work in person, and to connect beyond the canvas.

A very heartfelt thank you to @onceatreefurniture for making all of this possible. Your support, generosity, and belief in the arts community here in Vancouver truly made this happen. I’m so appreciative.

If you’d still like to experience the work in the space, I’m happy to arrange private walk-throughs. Just send me an email at art@lisaochowycz.ca

The conversations, the laughter, the quiet moments with the work, that’s what stays with me.

I’m carrying that energy into what’s next. Truly, thank you.
Hello from my studio! Amid the whirlwind of wra Hello from my studio!

Amid the whirlwind of wrapping up the studio, packing, and preparing for the move, I’m noticing the little things: the light changing as spring approaches, buds starting to bloom, and quiet moments with a cup of tea or a snack at my desk.

There’s so much to be grateful for - the "Sendoff" show with @onceatreefurniture is still open through March, and I’d love for you to see the pieces in person before they find their next homes.

Between the chaos and the beauty of it all, I’m reminded how lucky I am to do this work, and to share it with such a wonderful community.

I’m endlessly grateful to all the incredible inter I’m endlessly grateful to all the incredible interior designers, spaces & homeowners that have welcomed my work.

These spaces don’t just display a painting, they live with it and make it part of their story.

To the designers who thoughtfully place each piece, to the collectors who open their doors, and to the homes where these works now belong - thank you.

I’d love to see how my work lives in your space!

If you have a piece of mine at home, feel free to send me a DM - it’s such a joy to see it in its forever home.

In the studio, I pay attention to the little moments - a shift in color, a texture under my fingers, the rhythm of a brushstroke.

Sometimes the smallest choices shape the work in the biggest ways.
I wanted to share some news with you all personall I wanted to share some news with you all personally.

In May, I’ll be moving to Switzerland.

A new landscape, new light, and new inspiration to explore. Vancouver has been my creative home for so long, and this community, this city, and the studio we’ve built together will always remain close to my heart. I still plan to have a presence here, and to continue connecting, showing, and sharing work with all of you.

This next chapter is exciting and a little bittersweet, but it’s full of possibilities - new people, new places, new stories to bring into my painting.

I can’t wait to take you along for this journey.

For a long time, I thought the only way back to pa For a long time, I thought the only way back to painting was through more painting.

But the silence lasted.

What eventually brought me back wasn’t force, it was remembering other parts of myself. Reading. Cooking. Walking. Being in the rain. Gathering people.

I became a better painter by not painting.

That realization continues to shape how I work and the paintings that come from it.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about chapters. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about chapters.

What we carry forward. What we leave behind.

February will hold a few moments of both.

Stay tuned for some very exciting news!
