What an incredible weekend! Thank you to ev What an incredible weekend!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate 20 years with me - through the workshops, demos, and all the laughter and curiosity in the studio.

Sharing the space, the paint, and the process with you all truly feeds my soul. Seeing your creativity in action, hearing your questions, and connecting over art reminded me why teaching has been such a joy over the past two decades.

Here’s to art, connection, and many more years of learning together! 💛

The exhibition opens Friday, November 28, 6–8 pm, and runs through December 31.

Featured Works:

Hawks Series 183 — Acrylic and Graphite on Panel, 48″ x 24″

A companion and teacher for the past 14 years, Hawks Series reflects Vancouver’s streets, forests, bridges, mountains, and shifting light. Each piece is a layer in an evolving conversation — marking a beautiful, grateful conclusion to the series.

North Shore 24 — Acrylic on Panel, 36″ x 48″

Inspired by the steadfast, graceful mountains of the Pacific Northwest, this piece captures a memory of visiting the peaks — a quiet meditation on place and presence.

Both works will be making new friends in the gallery, alongside many incredible artists. If you’re in Richmond, stop by and explore the exhibition! I hope the pieces spark curiosity, reflection, or wonder.

What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who What a weekend!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the studio, explored both floors, and shared in the 20th year of the Eastside Culture Crawl with me. Each conversation, each curious glance, each moment of connection reminded me why this weekend has been my favourite for two decades.

A special thank-you to everyone who welcomed the 20 for 20 pieces into their homes, it feels wonderful to see these little experiments in colour finding new spaces to live in.

Here’s to art, community, and many more Crawls to come. 💛

Crawl weekend is officially underway! 🎨✨

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek at what the studio looked like in full swing whilst I prepped for the weekend - paint, colour, and a touch of chaos (the good kind).

A few brushes, a little colour mixing, and a lot of anticipation - there’s something about prep that always feels like part ritual, part magic.

Come by this weekend if you can - the studio’s almost ready, and I can’t wait to welcome you in.

This year is extra special, my 20th year participating in the Crawl. Two decades of opening my studio, sharing my work, and meeting so many wonderful people along the way. It’s honestly my favourite weekend of the year.

To celebrate, I’ve created something a little different: twenty 12" x 12" paintings exploring opposites on the colour wheel - yellow and purple, blue and orange, green and, well, you’ll have to see! Colour mixing has always felt part technical, part magic, and these pieces are a small experiment in both.

And because it feels fitting to mark this milestone, I’m offering them at my 20-year-ago pricing: $200 (+taxes).

A little thank-you for 20 remarkable years of the Crawl, and for everyone who’s come through the studio doors, cheered me on, and shared in the process.

Come visit - pick a studio, follow your curiosity, and let’s celebrate 20 years of art, connection, and colour together.

Sometimes the most unexpected beauty happens on th Sometimes the most unexpected beauty happens on the edges of the studio - like the way the palette looks after a full day of painting.

The Waterbucket Series captures these spontaneous, whimsical compositions, photographing the accidental worlds created in my water bucket.

A quiet reminder that chance and curiosity often lead to the most surprising moments.

On these panels, paint and texture move together, capturing fleeting glimpses of colour and motion.
